The staff were all lovely, my phone had broken and we went the day before just to check that's where id booked. So helpful. Any hoo was really well surprised in a good way, the room had a minibar, tv ,nice big shower charging points etc but the price was fab, 52 dollars for the 2 of us . well chuffed. The only downsize was it was further away from the bus station , but obviously that's not their fault. Felt very comfortable there and found the staff were friendly and helpful. Also they can change small amounts of dollars to mat with a good rate. If i was going to Mongolia again i would defo stay here.

I have stayed at the Zolo before and returned for another visit. Location is close to the centre (15 mins walk) but not too close and is therefore a little quieter. Breakfast is included and is reasonable, cereal, yoghurt, cooked food (eggs, rice/noodles, sausages etc), unlimited tea, coffee, juices. Hotel can arrange transfers if needed, there is a 24 hour convenience store next door (Nice to C U), railway station is nearby. Overall, good value.

Stayed July 6-14 2024 ( 8 days ) -STAFFS 10/10: responsive, approachable, kind & helpful. They have airport to hotel transport service of which only costs 30 USD, which is very reasonable since airport is an hour away from the city. -LOCATION 9/10: Just 3 mins car ride or 11 mins walk to Seoul Plaza Party Club area & eatery stalls, 6 mins walk to supermarket & convenience stores, 5 mins car ride to Soyol Wellness Center. Hotel is along the road for easy access for taxi transportation. Downside is that their restaurant operates only during breakfast from 7am to 9am, I think it’s to keep the cost low for low room rates. Their loc has not much surrounding restaurants at night. Best to have dinner outside before going back to hotel. -COMFORT 10/10: super comfortable bed with comforter (thick blanket) & nice split type aircon. They have everything I need in a room: fridge, table, hangers, plug socket beside bed, table etc. The room is big & spacious. -CLEANLINESS 10/10: Everything is clean. They have daily room cleaning if you wish. -WIFI 7/10: wifi is strong at the breakfast area, hallway and at the shower / toilet near the door of my room. The bed is a bit inside (far from the door / hallway), that makes my wifi experience weak & intermittent when in bed. I guess it can improve if they’ll have a wifi booster. -VALUE FOR MONEY 9/10: worth it with nice breakfast.

Good location. Friendly personnel. Clean inside. Breakfast is good but it's standard (no options to choose), the only i didn't like - the instant coffee is the only option.

This is a family-run business, everyone is passionate about it. Breakfast was really special, from Tseegi the cook and her mother, local Mongolians. Includes fried rice with olives, sliced veggies. Mongolian yogurt, very tasty, a little different from the yogurt I am used to. Tseegi guided me to the best places to hang out in town and helped out with translating at the hospital for my COVID test, made that process easier. Not all Mongolians know English so it helps to have someone who's fluent help out sometimes. The in-hotel restuarant also offers dinner, we had traditional Mongolian food. We had tripe and ox tongue salad. Tooksooh reception and driver Yondonjamts, the resident techie. Helped me with some online stuff and cell phone calls / texts that I could not do because my cell didn't work in Mongolia. Tooksooh, reception and taxi / airport transfer in his car. All with smiles. Upon checkout when I was about to leave the hotel, he double checked my hotel room, found laptop cord which would have been a pain to replace during my trip if I had lost it. So grateful.

I liked the space of the room and bathroom and their cleanness. The bed was also comfortable, and the staff, kind and helpful. The location isn't bad, since it's a 20-minute walk to the Sükhbaatar Square.

The bedrooms are huge, the beds really comfortable and spotlessly clean. Dates style but thats part of the charm
